Dear ROYA members,
The Romanian Orthodox Youth of the Americas presents the 2020 Youth Congress, which will be held virtually over Zoom on November 14th, 1:00 pm – 4.15 pm EST and November 15th, 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm EST. This year’s Congress will feature ELECTIONS for a new ROYA Board and voting on the revised ROYA Statute. Our speaker will be Father Ieremia, abbot of St. Dimitrios the New Monastery in Middletown, NY on Sunday November 15th, 6:45 pm EST.
The Congress Meeting is our chance to discuss everything ROYA. We’ll recap several highlights from the past year’s activities and achievements, present our future plans, and discuss some of the challenges we’re currently facing. Delegates will be submitting a report regarding parish youth activities which will be compiled and presented to everyone.

We are accepting nominations for Board positions here: https://forms.gle/G1YqufHMg65BvNSt5. You do NOT have to be a delegate to submit a nomination. The deadline for submitting your nominations is Thursday, November 12th, at 6:00 pm EST.
**The Congress is open to youth from our Metropolia; however, only the youth who have been delegated by their parish priest will be allowed to vote.**
