of the Romanian Orthodox Diocese of Canada
On Wednesday, August 12, 2020, the participants in the youth and family camps Sf. Cuv. Teodora - Ontario and St. Andrew - Québec, from the Romanian Orthodox Diocese of Canada, met for the first time on the virtual platform. This meeting was organized with the blessing of HG Bishop Ioan Casian with the help of several monitors. All had the joy of praying together to the Mother of God for intercession for the Orthodox Church, for all young men and women, for the Orthodox families in the Diocese and around the world. On this occasion, in addition to HG Bishop Ioan Casian, who presided over the evening of prayer, five priests were present: Protosinghelos Corneliu (Andrasco) from the Patriarchal Cathedral - Bucharest, Rev. Fr. Dean Viorel Țencaliuc, Rev. Fr. Olimpiu Margineanu, Rev. Fr. Emanuel Țencaliuc and Rev. Fr. Constantin Lupașcu. The answers at strana were given by the reader Valentin Botu, the protopsalt of the Episcopal Cathedral with the help of children who read in three languages Romanian, French and English the Paraklesis.
At the end, HG Bishop Ioan Casian blessed the participants and thanked the priests, all the children, parents and monitors who, through voluntary work, strive to help in the camps organized by the Romanian Orthodox Diocese of Canada.
The encounter ended with the song God is with us, understand nations and bow down, because God is with us.
