The Sunday of Myrrh-bearing Women - a feast of the Christian women.
HE Metropolitan Nicolae and HG Bishop Ioan Casian met with members of AROLA Board
On Sunday, May 3rd, 2020, the third Sunday after Pascha, in the Orthodox Church are mentioned the Myrrh-bearing women and along with them all the Christian women. On this occasion HE Metropolitan Nicolae and HG Bishop Ioan Casian wanted to congratulate personally the members of AROLA Board and to thank them for all the projects initiated in our parishes and also for the Orthodox unity they cultivate throughout the Romanian Orthodox Metropolia of the Americas taking further the mission of the Myrrh-bearing women.
The joy of Resurrection and the words of encouragement and appreciation addressed by the two hierarchs on the online platform gave the much-needed strength and hope of seeing each other soon, because the AROLA Conference had to be rescheduled for September.

A virtual experience, which nowadays became part of our life, made us happy when we saw each other and especially when we received the blessings of our hierarchs. The meeting concluded as it started with the joy of our Lord’s Resurrection expressed in the paschal hymn Shine, Shine, o New Jerusalem…
