According to the statement of His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church "it is very important to have clear, accurate and well-substantiated church laws based on Scripture, patristic writings, canonical tradition and Romanian conciliar Romanian Orthodox tradition"

This year, HG Bishop Ioan Casian took part in the meeting as a member of the Permanent Synod.

"This participation is important because it represents the conciliar principle of the Orthodox Church. At the same time, although these regulations are formulated in the context of Romanian law, they are based on the general principles on which the entire functioning of the institutions that make up the Orthodox Church and which are common regardless of the regional legislative specificity. Review and adaptation come from the desire to promote the mission of the Church within the new legislative contexts effectively, consistently with the scriptural, patristic and canonical values that would ensure a renewed work of the Church in the social, cultural and political conditions of the society of today.”

The work of the Commission ended on Thursday.
