St. Apostle Andrew Merit Scholarship Program

The Romanian Orthodox Diocese of Canada, through its Department of Education, announces the conclusion of the selection process for the St. Apostle Andrew Merit Scholarship Program, 2025 edition.

Following the review of the submitted applications, the following students have been selected as recipients of the St. Apostle Andrew Merit Scholarship, 2025 edition:

• Theodore Surdu, “St. Nicholas and Holy Prophet Elijah” Parish, Surrey, British Columbia

• Sebastian Sora, “Descent of the Holy Spirit” Parish, Windsor, Ontario

• Claudia Pop, “Descent of the Holy Spirit” Parish, Windsor, Ontario

This educational program is part of the missionary and pastoral work of the Romanian Orthodox Diocese of Canada and aims to support young people who, through dedication, perseverance, and outstanding academic achievements, bear witness to the values of the Orthodox faith and Romanian identity within Canadian society.
