With the blessing and guidance of His Grace Bishop Ioan Casian, the Romanian Orthodox
Diocese of Canada is organizing an annual project Gala-competition on December 12, 13, 2024, which aims to help children and young people in the Diocese acquire and share
information about orthodox faith, customs and traditions using information from the online
environment but encouraging teamwork.
Please find below the list of Projects as well as additional information (mode / deadline /
observations). Each participant (individual) or group of a parish has the possibility to choose
one or more projects according to talents and possibilities for all age groups.

Project type: individual or group
Format: Essay, poetry, poster, video, photo drawing reflections
Date of submission of the work / project – December 11th, 2024 to the email address

How to present digital visual, written or audio creation of your choice.
1. Video / Tik Tok / with credits for images, music, sources. 2-3 min.
Send as youtube link (public, unlisted)
2. Presentation in ppt, slides, max - 2 min per person
3. Drawing / painting on A4 paper
4. Leaflet / poster - exhibition
5. Essay / reflections / poetry read - 2 min.
6. Decorated / painted eggs / icons
At the end of the gala-competition project, a presentation will be made on Diocese Facebook
page or online magazine, of articles and materials written by students, images, video or audio
files.
