The joy of seeing each other through the prayer to Mother of God

Sunday, October 27, 2024 starting at 9:30 pm, by the grace of God, the goodwill of the Virgin Mary and the blessing of His Grace Ioan Casian, the Romanian Orthodox Bishop of Canada, we welcomed to our monastery in pilgrimage the miracle-working and Myrrh-Streaming Icon of the Mother of God Iviron from Hawaii. It was a great blessing for the clergy and pilgrims of the holy monastery, that the Mother of God through the Hawaiian Iveron Icon visited our souls.

We thank the Mother of God, Father Nectarie, Reader Christopher, local clergy and faithful pilgrims who were in prayer for the all-night vigil - the Divine Liturgy, the Trisagion Service of those fallen asleep in the Lord, especially Bishop Polycarp Morușca (+26 Oct. 1958), the Sacrament of the Holy Unction followed by the fraternal fellowship meal. At the end of the pilgrimage there was a procession with the Holy Icon around the property of the holy monastery. Glory to God for all things!

Most Holy Theotokos, Save Us!
