Notable guests at the Diocesan Center of the Romanian Orthodox Diocese of Canada
On the afternoon of June 20, 2022, His Grace Bishop Ioan Casian, Romanian Orthodox Bishop of Canada was visited by Dr. Adrian Valentin Cortârleț, manager of the Municipal Emergency Hospital in Moinești and university professor at the "Vasile Alecsandri" University of Bacău and Ciprian Iulian Neacșu, director of the "Cin Med" clinic in Agăș, Bacău County.
The guests visited the Episcopal Cathedral dedicated to the "Holy Great Martyr George" in Saint-Hubert, Quebec and the Diocesan Center and discussed with the first Romanian Orthodox Bishop of Canada. During the discussions, topics such as the Romanian presence in Canada, the situation of the churches, the connections with the other jurisdictions and the need for a renewed mission among young people, etc. were addressed.
At the end of the discussions, the hierarch offered to the distinguished guests the recently published volume of pastoral letters entitled: Birth and Resurrection of the Lord, published by Napoca Star in 2022 and the latest issue of the magazine Cuvântul - The Word - Le Verbe, of the Romanian Orthodox Diocese of Canada.
