Annual gala-contest

With the blessing and guidance of His Grace Bishop Ioan Casian, the Romanian Orthodox Diocese of Canada is organizing an annual project Gala-competition on May 28, 29 2022, which aims to help children and young people in the Diocese acquire and share information about orthodox faith, customs and traditions using information from the online environment but encouraging teamwork.
You will find below the list of Projects as well as additional information (mode / deadline / observations). Each participant (individual) or group of a parish has the possibility to choose one or more projects according to talents and possibilities for all age groups.

How to present digital visual, written or audio creation of your choice.
- Video / Tik Tok / with credits for images, music, sources. 2-3 min.
Send as youtube link (public, unlisted)
- Presentation in ppt, slides, max - 2 min per person
- Drawing / painting on A4 paper
- Leaflet / poster - exhibition
- Essay / reflections / poetry (recitation) - 2 min.
- Decorated / painted eggs / icons
At the end of the gala-competition project, a presentation will be made on Diocese Facebook page or online magazine, of articles and materials written by students, images, video or audio files.
